Khaled taken to ACC

Expelled organising secretary of Dhaka South Jubo League Khaled Mahmud Bhuiyan was taken to Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) to grill in connection with two cases relating to arms and drugs.
He was brought to ACC office in Segunbagicha area from Kashimpur Central Jail around 3pm. He is now being grilled.
On October 27, Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) submitted charge-sheet against expelled Jubo League organising secretary of Dhaka South Khaled Mahmud Bhuiyan in a case filed under Arms Act.
Assistant Superintendent of Police of RAB-1 Belayet Hossain placed the chargesheet in the court of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Devdas Chandra Adhikari, General Registrar Sheikh Rakibur Rahman of Gulshan Police Station confirmed the matter to media.
Earlier on October 7, a Dhaka court granted 7 days’ remand in the cases in third phase and instructed the authorities to carefully question him.
RAB arrested Khaled from his Gulshan residence on September 18 on charge of running a casino in the capital’s Fakirapool.
Police seized one shotgun, two pistols, 57 rounds of shotgun bullets, 53 rounds of pistol bullets and 585 pieces of Yaba pills from his residence.
Later, four separate cases were filed against Khaled Mahmud Bhuiyan. Then, two separate courts in Dhaka put Khaled on 14-day remand in the cases in two phases.
