Karnaphuli Gas Distribution Company Ltd is continuing its vigilance activities in the port city against the illegal use of gas through adopting unfairmeans.
To resist the trend of illegal use of gas, this vigilance activities is being launched from July 2010. Following the success of vigilance team against misuse of gas, a separate Department namely Vigilance Department under the direct supervision of the Managing Director was constituted in 2011 as a permanent arrangement.
Under this vigilance activities from October 5 to 8 last, KGDCL disconnects 10 consumers connection and instantly realized arrear bills amounting Tk.3,84,408.00 , a release said.
