Former Professor of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) and owner of KG Hospital Dr Mottaqim Chowdhury died of old age complications while undergoing treatment at a city hospital in the morning on Saturday. He was 74.
Mottaqim left behind wife, four sons and a host of relatives and admirers to mourn his death.
He was buried at Azimpur graveyard after Maghrib prayers following his namaz-e-janaza at Becharam Dewry mosque in the city.
