Kamal for more cooperation from WB

Planning Minister A H M Mustafa Kamal today said cooperation from World Bank (WB) and other donor agencies are necessary to expedite the country’s ongoing development activities overcoming different challenges.
The minister passed this remark while WB Acting Country Director Rajashree S Paralkar made a courtesy call on him at his ministry office.
Praising the WB’s continuous cooperation for the development activities of Bangladesh, Kamal hoped the WB would come up with more cooperation in the coming day ahead, said a ministry press release.
He told the WB director that Bangladesh would set instance in world economy if the ongoing progress is continued with the leadership of the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
They also discussed the issues of mutual interest.
Rajashree S Paralkar also lauded the Bangladesh’s achievements in different sectors, especially in economic indicators.
