Rajshahi Betar Shilpi Sangstha has organized a solo musical soiree of noted Tagore artiste, media personality and Director of Bangladesh Betar Kamal Ahmed. The programme titled Ami Chanchal Hey Ami Sudurer O Piyashi has arranged on the occasion of birth anniversary of Rabindra Nath Tagore on May 8 evening at the Darbar Hall of a restaurant at Rajshahi city.
Prof Dr Ananda Kumar Saha, Vice Chancellor of Rajshahi University, will be present as the chief guest at the programme. Besides, Bazlur Rahman Badal, Independence Medal winner dance mentor, Amaresh Ray Chowdhury, Ekushey Award winner scholar, former state minister and Prof Zinnatunnesa Talukder MP, Prof Shafikur Rahman Badsha, Tauhida Chowdhury, Md Hasan Akhter, Regional Director and Deputy Regional Director of Bangladesh Betar, Rajshahi will be also present as special guests on the occasion. Prof Ruhul Amin Pramanik, will preside over the event. The musical programme will be open for all.
Kamal Ahmed has also national and international recognition. Singer Kamal Ahmed has released 15 albums so far.
