Morsalin Ahmed of the dailysports24.com retained his championship title of the Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU) Chess Competition after beating Tapan Biswas of the Daily Janakantha in the final at the DRU hall-room on Wednesday.
Tareq Salman of the report24.com finished third in the chess meet.
President of DRU Shakhawat Hossain Badshah, General Secretary of DRU Elias Hossain, Sports Secretary of DRU Badrul Alam Chowdhury, former sports secretaries of DRU Shafiqul Islam Shamim, Rafiqul Islam, AKM Kamruzzaman Hiru, Mohiuddin Palash witnessed the entertaining final.
A total of 22 chess players took part in the comptition.
