Noted Tagore artiste Kamal Ahmed will release an album featuring 10 songs of Rabindranath Tagore from Kolkata, marking the 75th death anniversary of the Nobel laureate poet on Srabon 22.
Kolkata-based Raga Music will produce the album titled Durer Bondhu. The solo album – Kamal Ahmed’s 13th – contains the songs Nishi Na Pohatey, Chhaya Ghonayechhe Boney Boney, Aamar Surey Lagey, Kachhey Chhiley Durey Geley, Durer Bondhu, Dhora Diyechhi, Nidra Hara Raater, Jodi Jantam, Aamar Jibon Potro and Bhora Thak.
While talking about her album Director of Bangladesh Betar Kamal Ahmed informed that it was his long-cherished dream to have an album released from Kolkata, India.
