Music of Bengal launched noted Tagore artiste Kamal Ahmed’s album titled Ekusher Swaralipi on the first day of month of the Mother Language Movement.
The album is now available for listeners on Music of Bengal’s jukebox channel on YouTube. An audio CD of the album was also released. This is the first album by any solo artiste in Bangladesh with songs on Ekushey February.
Ibne Razon, Mujahidul Haque Lenin, Shoumitro Banerjee, Md Masud Rana, Md Shah Newaz, Ali Hossain, Sheikh Sadi Khan, the late Md Nazrul Islam and Azad Rahman have composed songs for Ekusher Swaralipi.
The lyricists of the album are Fazal E Khoda, Shyamoli Mondol, Md Foysol Khan and Shafat Khaiyam among others.
