Kalkini (Madaripur) Correspondent :
The Executive Committee of Kalkini Upazila Press Club has been formed recently . Md Mizanur Rahman (Daily Samakal, Dainik Manabjamin and The Daily New Nation) has been elected President for the 5th time and Md Iqbal Hossain (Bijoy TV, Daily Inqilab) has been elected General Secretary for the eight time.
The committee was formed with the consent of all the members of the 8th Council at Kalkini Upazila Press Club office.
B M Hanif(Daily Alokito Bangladesh) and Khandaker Shamin Hossain (Daily Amader Samay) were elected as Vice- Presidents. Atikur Rahman Azad (Daily Dikal) Joint General Secretary, Md Delwar Hossain Bablu (The Daily Sangbad), Organising Secretary, Ratan Dey (Daily Matichhaya) Finance Secretary, Abu Taher Khan (Daily Rupali Desh ) Organising Secretary, Shakibul Islam Khalil (Daily Khoborpatra) Publicity Secretary and Afrin Begum (Daily Azkaler Khabar) Social Services Secretary .
Other active members are – Mehedi Hasan Mintu (Daily Sandhabani), Anwar Hossain Master (Weekly Kalkini Batra), Mahmudur Rahman Iran (Weekly Madaripuer Kantha), Oliur Rahman Sany (weekly Kalkini Batra) and Sanjay Sarkar (Weekly Ganobatra).
