Sitting Judge of the High Court Division of the Supreme Court (SC) Justice Md Nazrul Islam Talukder has been appointed as member of the Bangladesh Judicial Service Commission (BJSC).
President M Abdul Hamid has made the appointment for the next five years as per the Bangladesh Judicial Service Commission Rules, 2007. The Law Ministry issued a gazette notification in this regard on Sunday, said a press release.
Sitting judge of the Appellate Division of the SC, Justice Hasan Foez Siddique is serving the BJSC as the chairman.
