Justice Mahfuzur Rahman, former judge of Supreme Court of Bangladesh, High Court Division and former election commissioner died yesterday at around 4 pm
at his residence in Mohammadpur . He was 80.
Mahfuzur hailed from a respectable family of Comilla and son of Late Khan Bahadur Siddiqur Rahman.
He was also former vice president of Supreme Court Bar Association. He left behind wife, four daughters, four son-in-laws and grand children and a host of relatives to mourn his death.
His Namaj-e-Janaza will be held today at around 10.30 am at his ancestral home and will be buried at his family graveyard.
