The junior Tigers’ will start their preparation camp today (Saturday) at the National Cricket Academy ground in Mirpur ahead of the Under-19 Asia Cup which will be held in Sri Lanka from December 13-24.
The selected under-19 cricketers reported on Friday at National Cricket Academy ground for the preparation camp.
Earlier, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced the team for U-19 Asia Cup. Bangladesh, India, Pakistan and hosts Sri Lanka will be joined by Afghanistan, Nepal, Singapore and Malaysia in the tournament.
Bangladesh U-19 squad: Mohammed Saif Hassan (captain), Sozib Hosen, Nazmul Alam, Afif Hossain (vice captain), Aminul Islam Biplob, Rayan Rafsan Rahman, Habibur Rahman, Md Rakib, Mahidul Islam Bhuiyan, Nayeem Hasan, Shakhawat Hossain, Qazi Onik Islam, Yeasin Arafat, Mukidul Islam and Mohammad Abdul Halim.
