Junior Tigers off to winning start in Tri-Nation U-19

Bangladesh Under-19 team made a decent start in the Tri-nation U-19 tournament in England, crushing the hosts England by six wickets in their opening game at Worcestershire on Monday. Towhid Hridoy led the side from the front, hitting an unbeaten 70 off 86 as the Bangladeshi youths cantered to the victory, making 204-4 after the hosts were restricted to 200-7 in 50 overs. Hridoy was aptly aided by Shahadat Hossain who blasted 60 ball-57 with eight four. Hridoy and Shahadat in fact took the side in winning position by sharing a 114-run for the fourth wicket after Bangladesh were in tricky 72-3. Medium pacer Kasey Eldrige snapped up 2-30 for English side. Earlier, Tanzim Hasan Sakib helped the side take a control over England Under-19.
