The Junior Asia Cup Hockey will be held from March 11 to March 19 in 2021 at the Maulana Bhashani National Hockey Stadium. The tournament was scheduled to be held this year. The matches were scheduled to be held from June 4 to June 12 this year. But the tournament was postponed due to coronavirus outbreak. The hockey tournament for under-21 aged hockey players will be held marking the Mujib Birth Centenary. Earlier, the logo of the tournament was unveiled but the competition was not held due to coronavirus situation of the world.
The Asian Champions Trophy was scheduled to be held in September in Dhaka this year. The hockey meet will be held in January next year.
A total of ten teams will take part in Junior Asia Cup Hockey. Hosts Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Japan, South Korea, China, Libya, Uzbekistan, Chinese Taipei and Oman will participate in the Junior Asia Cup Hockey. Top four teams will get tickets of the World Junior Hockey, which is scheduled to be held in India in 2021.
