Jukta Front on Wednesday decided to hold rallies in September across the country.
The front leaders have taken the decision in a meeting held in the residence of Former President and Convener of the front Professor Dr. AQM Badruddoja Chowdhury at Baridhara in the capital.
The front leaders said, they have taken the decision to organise rallies, public meetings and public relation progammes in divisional, district and upazila head quarters across the country to make the anti-government platform stronger.
The meeting sources said that the front leaders paid their respect to the Architect of Bangladesh Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in the beginning of the meeting.
The leaders asked the Prime Minister to free the detained 22 students, who participated in the recent road safety movement. JSD President ASM Abdur Rab, Nagorik Oikya Convener Mahmudur Rahman Manna, JSD General Secretary Abdul Malek Ratan and Bikalpa Dhara Organising Secretary Barrister Umar Faruk, among others, were present.
