Jahangirnagar University Journalists Association (Juja) observed its 46th founding anniversary on the university campuson Friday.
JU Vice-Chancellor Prof Farzana Islam inaugurated the programme as the chief guest at Saptamchaya Mancha around11 amwhile JU Treasure Prof Sheikh Md Monzurul Huq, Juja Alumni President Syed Sahidul Haque Monju, Secretary Kazi Zakir Hossain and JU Proctor Sikder Zulkarnain were present.
A colourful rally, led by the JU VC, was brought out from in front of the Teacher-Student Centre around 12 noon.
The programmes ended through a cultural function and a raffle draw around4 pm.
Around 100 present and former Juja members attended the programmes.
The Juja was established on April 3, 1972.
