Jubilee HS, Police Line HS in final of National School Cricket

Govt. Jubilee High School of Sunamganj and Police Line High School of Bogura moved into the national round final of the Prime Bank School Cricket after rain played spoilsports at both the venues on Thursday.
The final between the two teams will be held on Sunday (May 13) at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium in Sylhet.
In the day’s first semifinal, Govt. Jubilee High School confirmed their final spot by virtue of toss against Sunshine Grammar School at Moulvibazar district stadium after rain continued to play spoil sports on the reserve day (Thursday). Later, as per the playing condition Jubilee High School emerged winners by virtue of toss.
Earlier, on Wednesday, opting to bat first after winning the toss, Jubilee scored 152 for 5 in 31 overs as rain forced to stop the play that forced the match to roll into reserve day (Thursday).
In the day’s other semi-final, Police Line School and College of Bogura advanced into the semi-final beating Chehel Gazi Shishu Niketon School and College of Rangpur by five wickets in Duckworth-Lewis method in Tangail stadium.
Batting first after winning the toss, Chehel Gazi Shishu Niketon School and College scored a paltry total of 45 for 2 in reduced 21 overs due to rain and in reply Police line reached home for the loss of five wickets in 7 overs.
