The authority of Pritilata Hall of Jahangirnagar University (JU) accorded reception to freshers of its first year students under the academic session 2013-2014 and farewell reception to its post masters’ students (38 Batch) at the hall’s auditorium on Sunday night on the campus .
JU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Farzana Islam addressed the function as the chief guest while JU Pro-VC Professor Abul Hossain addressed as special guest.
The VC greeted the students and wished for bright future in their life.
Presided over by Hall Provost Professor Dr. Lutfar Rahman, house tutor Md. Najmul Islam addressed the function.
Later, the VC distributed prizes of annual sports competitions among the winners.
