The Philosophy Department of Jahangirnagar University (JU) on Tuesday won the Inter-department Handball Tournament- 2018 defeating Pharmacy Department by 14-7 goals.
JU Physical Education Department (PED) organised the event at the central playground of the university.
Shaikat and Nihat of the wining team were nominated as ‘Best Player’ and ‘Best Goalkeeper’ of the tournament respectively.
At the concluding session, JU Treasurer Professor Sehikh Md Monzurul Huq distributed prizes among the winners with Director of the PDE Habiba Yeasmin in the chair.
