Zoology Department of Jahangirnagar University (JU) is going to organise the 16th Bird Fair-2017 on January 6 in collaboration with World Life Rescue Center, Bangladesh Bird Club and Aronnok Foundation.
It was disclosed at a press conference on Tuesday. Associate Professor of the Department Md. Kamrul Hasan , convener of the fair disclosed it .
The day long programme includesinter university bird identification competition, decoration of stalls competition, speech competition, bird painting competition for children, watching migratory birds in different spot by telescope for children, quiz competition, discussion and cultural session relating to bird at the end of the day.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Farzana Islam will be expected to inaugurate the fair on that day.
Maintainable, JU Zoology department have been organising such type of fair since 2011 with a view to raising mass awareness about preserving birds.
