The annual sports competition of Jahangirnagar University (JU) concluded Sunday at the central playground on the campus.
JU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Farzana Islam addressed the prize giving ceremony as the chief guest while Pro-VC Professor Dr. Abul Hossain and Treasurer Professor Dr. Abul Khaer addressed it as special guests.
Among the male dormitories, AFM Kamal Uddin Hall became the champion and Mowlana Bhashani Hall became the runners-up while Sheikh Hasina hall became the champion and Begum Khaleda Zia Hall became the runners-up among the female dormitories.
Meanwhile, GM Hassan became the fastest man among the male competitors while Jaya Chakma became the fastest woman among the female competitors.
Presided over by Mohammad Nasir Uddin acting president of the sports competition management committee, JU Registrar Abu Bakr Siddique and Director of Physical Education office Sifatullah were present at the function, among others.
