Two motorcyclists, including a Junior School Certificate (JSC) examinee, were killed and another was injured as a truck hit their bike in Dighapatia area of the district town on Tuesday.
The deceased were identified as examinee Mim and motorcycle driver Zahurul, residents of Islambari village in Sadar upazila. Fire Service sources said the truck crashed into the motorcycle when Zahurul was taking the two JSC examinees-Mim and Masud-home after their examination, leaving Zahurul dead on the spot and the two schoolchildren critically injured. Of the injured, Mim died on the way to hospital, said the sources.
