The fifth session of the 10th parliament will begin on January 19 (Monday) at 4 pm.President Md. Abdul Hamid has convened the session of the Jatiya Sangsad (JS) according to Article 72(1) of the Constitution, Parliament Secretariat source said here yesterday. It will be the first session of the year as well as the winter session. As per the constitution, the President will deliver his speech based on government activities highlighting development works. General discussion on thanks giving motion on President’s speech will be taken place in the session.
