‘The Official Vehicles (Regulation of Use) Bill, 2015’ was passed on Tuesday by the Jatiya Sangsad (JS) with a view to preventing misuses and ensuring proper usages of official vehicles.
The passage of the bill in an amended form annulled ‘The Official Vehicles (Regulation of Use) Ordinance, 1986’.
State Minister for Public Administration Ismat Ara Sadeque moved the bill in the House for its passage.
Earlier, the bill was sent to the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Public Administration Ministry on November 23, 2014 for scrutiny and report back to the House.
