JS delegation leaves for India

An eight-member delegation of the Jatiya Sangsad (JS) headed by Muhammad Faruk Khan, MP, left Dhaka for Kolkata and Delhi on Friday afternoon to attend a bilateral meeting.
The other members of the delegation are: Whip Iqbalur Rahim, MP, Pankaj Deb Nath, MP, Nahim Razzak, MP, Mahzabin Khaled,MP, Shafiqul Islam Shimul, MP, and Kazi Nabil Ahmed, MP. They will meet Chief Minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee at Nabanna office at Mandirtala of Howrah.
At the meeting, they will discuss different bilateral issues including terrorism, militancy and sharing of water between Bangladesh and India- West Bengal during the dry season, tourism and simplification of visa process.
The JS delegation will also meet high level political leaders of BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party). During the meeting, they will talk about different regional problems alongside the terrorism, militancy, and practices of democracy.
They will exchange views with the Speaker of Lok Shova, ministers, law makers, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, diplomats, noted journalists, political leaders, educationists, renowned personalities and delegation of Vivekananda Foundation.
