The 12th meeting of Parliamentary Standing Committee on Defence Ministry was held at Jatiya Sangsad (JS) Bhaban here with its Chairman Major General (retd) Mohammad Shubid Ali Bhuiyan in the chair.
Committee members Muhammad Faruk Khan, Dr Dipu Moni, M Elias Uddin Mollah, Mahmud Us Samad Chowdhury and Hosne Ara Begum attended the meeting.
The meeting reviewed progress of the decisions taken in the previous meeting.
A multimedia presentation on the activities of Sena Kalyan Sangstha was screened in the meeting.
High officials of the ministry, high officials of three forces and concerned officials of JS secretariat were also present on the occasion.
