Parliamentary standing committee on Public Administration Ministry recommended necessary measures to introduce performance based evaluation system instead of annual confidential report (ACR).
The suggestion came from the 10th meeting of the parliamentary body held at Jatiya Sangsad (JS) Bhaban on Wednesday with its president HN Ashikur Rahman in the chair.
It also asked the ministry to prepare a list of the officers deprived of promotion and take measures for ensuring visit of members of the parliamentary committee and concerned officers to Vietnam and China.
Among others, committee members, Public Administration Minister Syed Ashraful Islam, State Minister Ismat Ara Sadek, ABM Fazle Karim Chowdhury, RAM Obaidul Muktadir Chowdhury, M Abdur Rahman, Sukumar Ranjan Gosh and M Abdullah, were present at the meeting.
