The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Railway Ministry recommended erecting fence surrounding country’s all railway stations for ensuring safety of the passengers from hostility.
The recommendation was made at the 9th meeting of the committee at Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban on Wednesday with its chairman ABM Fazle Karim Chowdhury in the chair, an official handout said.
Committee Members Railway Minister M Mujibul Haque, Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury, Md Ali Asgar, Muhammad Mizanur Rahman, Md Sirajul Islam Mollah, Mohammad Noman, Yasin Ali and Fatema Zohra Rani attended the meeting.
