The Parliamentary Committee on Public Accounts Thursday recommended priority to female entrepreneurs in the allocation of plots in BSCIC industrial estates.
The recommendation was made at the 8th meeting of the committee held at the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban with its Chairman Shawkat Ali presiding.
Committee members M Abdul Quddus, M Habibur Rahman, Abdur Rouf and Advocate Navana Aktar attended the meeting, said an official release.
The meeting discussed in detail the activities of Bangladesh Small and Cottage Industries Corporation (BSCIC).
