The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Planning Ministry on Thursday finalized the draft of Public Procurement (Amendment) Bill, 2016 and decided to place it in the house.
The standing committee took the decision in its 25th meeting at the Jatiya Sangsad (JS) Bhaban with committee Chairman Abul Kalam Azad presiding, said an official release.
Standing Committee Members Planning Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal, State Minister MA Mannan, Shawkat Ali and M Tajul Islam attended the meeting.
The meeting held discussions in detail on the draft of Public Procurement (Amendment) Bill, 2016 and finalized it with some corrections and modifications. Then it decided to place the bill in parliament.
