The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Information Ministry on Thursday discussed the activities of Press Information Department (PID).
The discussion was held in the 14th meeting of the Committee at the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban here with its Chairman AKM Rahmatullah in the chair.
Committee members Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu, Sukumar Ranjan Ghosh, Simeen Hussain (Rimi) and Saimum Sarwar Komol attended the meeting.
The meeting also discussed matters regarding the online information research and online information policy.
The committee decided to visit the Press Information Department. Information Secretary Martuza Ahmed and senior officials of the parliament secretariat were present the meeting.
