Jatiya Party (JP) has expelled Engineer Mohammad Mostafa Mohsin from the party’s preliminary membership post for his involvement in anti-organisational activities.
JP Chairman and former President HM Ershad, in line with the power bestowed upon him as per the party constitution, issued the expulsion order as Mohsin violated the party decision by taking part in Giabandha-1 (Sundarganj) by-polls for March 22, said a party press release.
The seat fell vacant following the death of Awami League lawmaker Manzurul Islam Liton in December last.
