A press conference of the split group of Ershad led Jatiya Party was held at Chattogram Press Club Auditorium demanding abrogation of socalled Chattogram city committee including 4 points demand on Tuesday .
Former vice president of Jatiya party Abdullah Miah read out the written statement before the media persons. The press meet declared 3-days demonstration programs demanding the so called city committee as null and void. The press meet was also told that the so called committee was constituted with 9-members in 2018 before “Eidul Azha’ . To convince for constituting socalled committee , the incumbent President of JP, Chattogram unit Solaiman Alam Seth , presented three sacrificial animals to 3 central leaders before Eidul Azha. So this present socalled committee now indentified as Cow Committee (Garu Committee), press meet told .
The press meet also demanded immediate abrogation of JP Chattogram unit immediately and holding election In a democratic way.
The demands of press meet include 1) abroagation of Ctg city committee , 2) withdrawal of suspension order against valiant FF and former GS of Ctg unit Tapan Chakraborty immediately 3) election of Jatiya Jubo Sanghati through democratic way and 4) expulsion of socalled committee President Solaiman Alam Seth from the party.
Out of the declared action programs of the JP conference include demonstration and observance of Constitution day infront of party office on December 6 next in Chattogram and at Dhaka on December 10 next. Meanwhile, as a part of the programs so announced at CPC, demonstration and rally was held in Chattogram.
