Joynal Hazari laid to rest

Heroic freedom fighter and Awami League Advisory Council member Joynal Hazari was laid to eternal rest with due respect at the Mujib Uddayan here on Tuesday.
He was buried at Mujib Uddayan, adjacent to his Masterpara residence in Feni town on Tuesday evening following two namaz-e-janazas.
His first namaz-e-janaza was held at capital’s Baitul Mukarram Mosque at 10am, reports BSS.
The second namaz-e-janaza was held after Asr prayer at Feni Pilot High
School ground, where a large number of people, including organizing Secretary of Bangladesh Awami League and Whip of Jatiya Sangsad Abu Saeed Al Mahmud Swapan, MP, former Chittagong City Corporation Administrator Khorshed Alam Sujan, Feni-2, MP, Nizam Uddin Hazari, former MP of Feni-2 Joynal Abedin, VP, Deputy Commissioner of Feni Abu Selim Mahmud ul Hasan were present.
Joynal Hazari was elected Member of Parliament from Feni-2 (Feni Sadar) constituency three times in 1986, 1991 and 1996. He was also the general secretary of greater Noakhali district unit of Chhatra League, the student wing of Awami League.
Hazari died of old-age complications at a city hospital on Monday at the age of 75.
