The Joyjatra-BSJC Sports Festival began at the Shaheed Tajuddin Wooden Floor Gymnasium on Sunday. Bangladesh Sports Journalists Community (BSJC) has arranged the Sports Festival while Joyjatra Foundation is sponsoring the meet.
Founding Chairperson of Joyjatra Foundation Helena Jahangir inaugurated the sports festival as the chief guest. President of BSJC Asif Iqbal, Senior Vice-President of BSJC Md Moin Uddin Tarique, Vice-President of BSJC Kamal Hossain Bablu, General Secretary of BSJC Shafiqul Islam Shamim were present, among others.
In the men’s singles of Badminton Competition, Mushfiqur Rahman of Diganta TV emerged as champion while Jasim Uddin Rana of Naya Diganta became runner-up.
In the men’s singles of Table Tennis Competition, Al Amin Sabuj of GTV became champion while Asif Iqbal of Bangladesh Protidin finished runner-up.
