Bangladesh young batter Mahmudul Hasan Joy is getting trained by the prominent coach of the country Mohammad Salahuddin and Comilla Victorians consultant Steve Rhodes in the ongoing BPL. The opener wants to use their lesson in the upcoming Afghanistan series.
Joy, who is waiting for the One Day International (ODI) debut said Salahuddin and Rhodes have worked separately on his batting weakness.
Joy also said he is ready for Afghanistan series, “I am trying to learn some techniques from Salahuddin Sir. Steve Rhodes also showed me some drills, he suggested to continue these drills. Practicing these will help me to improve in white-ball cricket,”
“I have tried to learn some techniques from them. Even when they will be gone, I can continue those things. They taught me a lot of things,” he said.
Joy lacked the ability to swing the bat. He said coach Salahuddin, has worked with him to develop and enhance his batting accuracy.
“I worked on batting techniques with Salahuddin Sir during the BPL. The bat swing slows slightly due to the four-day matches. Then, after working with him on bat swing, everything is good,” he added.
