Bangladesh Federal Union of Journalists (BFUJ) and Dhaka Union of Journalists (DUJ) will observe daylong hunger strike on September 20 as part of a series programme in demand for formation of the 9th wage board for media people.
The hunger strike programme will begin at 10 am and end at 5 pm on the Tennis Ground of Jatiya Press Club in the city, said a release here today.
BFUJ President Manzurul Ahsan Bulubul, General Secretary Omar Faruque, DUJ President Shaban Mahmud and General Secretary Sohel Haider Chowdhury urged all journalists to attend the programme on time.
