Media Advisor to the Prime Minister Iqbal Sobhan Chowdhury emphasized the role of the journalists toward country’s development with the spirit of Liberation War.
He mentioned it while exchanging views with the newly- elected officials of Bangladesh Federal Union of Journalists, Chittagong Division at Circuit House yesterday.
 Newly- elected Vice President of BFUJ Shahidul Alam and Joint Secretary Tapan Chakraborty greeted the Media Advisor by presenting bouquet .
During the meet with media advisor, former President of Ctg Press Club and Director of Rupali Bank Abu Sufian, former President of CPC Mostaque Ahmed, General Secretary of CUJ Reaz Haider Chowdhury were present on the occasion.
 Media advisor urges the journos to work for the development of the country under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and sustaining the ongoing development process of the present govt.
He also asked the journos to maintain the professional rights and dignity . Iqbal Sobhan Chowdhury further said Chittagong has a glorious history of all respects and the present govt is very much cordian to the development of the port city.
He also mentioned the development of work of Karnaphuli tunnel, special economic zone of Mirsarai and Anowara, coal turbine power plant at Matarbari and Deep Sea Port at Moheskhali in Cittagong.
