Chittagong Bureau :Deputy Commissioner of Chittagong Md. Mesbahuddin said the journalists are playing pioneering role in society building and to rectify the loopholes of the different sectors of the govt and non-govt organizations. He said true pictures of the society are depicted in medias through hard duties of the mediamen and praised the journalists for their hard jobs. He hoped the continuous progress of the CRU in national building activities .The Deputy Commissioner disclosed it while addressing the fifth founding anniversary of Chittagong Reporters Unity at Muslim Institute Hall in city on Wednesday as Chief Guest . President of the CRU Kiran Sharma presided over it. General Secretary of CRU Md. Nazrul Islam delivered address of welcome in the anniversary function. Reputed journalists Moinuddin Quadery Showkat,Chairman journalist housing society . Md. Iskandar Ali chowdhury, president metropolitan sanbadik samoybay samiy limited, Managing Director Nazrul Group Ln. Nazrul Islam spoke on the occasion as special guests. General Secretary of DR U (Dhaka Reporters Unity) Raju Ahmed spoke on the occasion as principal speaker of the programs, DRU Publication Secretary Kafi kamal Divisional Secretary Aminul Hoque Bhuiyan,Noted Industrialist and specialists of IT a CRU sources said.The principal speaker in his brief deliberations emphasized the duties and responsibilities of the working journalists..
