Staff Reporter :Eminent Journalist Motiur Rahman passed away on Saturday at 5 am in the Square Hospital in city. He was 72.Motiur Rahman has left his wife, a host of well-wishers and relations to mourn his death.Motiur Rahman started his career as a Reporter in Eastern News Agency (ENA), later he served The New Nation as Diplomatic Correspondent, then he joined Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS) as project head of the Human Rights Project. Later, he joined The New Nation in editorial section.Motiur Rahman had been suffering from kidney diseases for long and was admitted in the Square Hospital for a few months.He was laid to rest at the Banani Graveyard in Dhaka after namaj-e-janaja at the Mohakhali DOHS Jaam-e Masjid.All are requested to pray to Almighty Allah for the salvation of the departed soul of Motiur Rahman.
