Joaquin Phoenix has no regrets about passing over the opportunity to play a superhero character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The 43-year-old actor was in negotiations with the Marvel to play the superhero character Doctor Strange in the MCU. But things did not materialise and the role was ultimately bagged by ‘Sherlock’ star Benedict Cumberbatch.
Now, in a new interview, Phoenix said that everything worked out for the best for everyone.
