A student of Jagannath University (JnU) has tested positive for coronavirus.
The victim is a student of Genetic Engineering department of the university.
University sources said he has been suffering from fever and headache for the last one week.
He underwent test at the Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR) on Monday and his result was found positive on Tuesday.
JnU Vice-chancellor Prof Mijanur Rahman said they are constantly in contact with the student and his
family.
The student will be shifted to the isolation unit on Wednesday and his family will remain in home-quarantine, he said.
