The Jagannath University authority published the results of primary selected candidates for written tests under 2019-20 academic sessions on Thursday night.
A total of 25,000 aspirants passed the selection on the basis of their results in both SSC and HSC examinations. The results are available on the university notice boards and also on the JnU website: www.jnu.ac.bd.
Primaryonline application continued until August 20. The admission seekers had to pay online application fee of Tk 100 to be selected primarily.
Admission aspirants, who have selected primarily for Unit-1, Unit-2 and Unit-3, will have to pay an additional Tk 600 to apply online for taking part in the written tests. The online application for written tests will start from August 23 and be continued till September 2, officials said.
Students who applied for the specialised departments like Music, Fine Arts, Theatre, and Film and Television departments will have to pay Tk 500 for the test. The written tests for “Unit-3” (faculty of business studies) were scheduled to be held on September 14.
The written test for “Unit-2” (faculty of arts, faculty of social science, faculty of law, Institute of Modern Language, Institute of Education and Research) on September 20; and “Unit-1” (faculty of science and faculty of life and earth sciences) on September 21.
The tests will be held in two shifts – one from 10:00am to 11:30am and other one from 3:00pm to 4:30pm.The practical and viva-voce for music department, theatre department, fine arts department and film and television department will be held on September 29.
