Dr Noor Mohammad, Associate Professor of the Department of Psychology of Jagannath University (JnU), has been appointed as the Proctor of the university for next two years, said a university press release on Monday.
Earlier, Dr Noor was appointed as acting proctor of the university since June 03, 2014.
Besides, he was general secretary of JnU Awami League backed teachers’ association “Blue Panel” for the academic session 2014-15.
The newly-appointed Proctor vowed to discharge his duties properly on the basis of morality following the university’s rules and regulations.
