Hazi Rahim Ullah, MP of Feni-3 constituency has allegedly came under attack by a group of Jubo League activists in presence of Roads and Bridges Minister Obaidul Kader.
The untoward incident took place on Saturday evening at the Feni Circuit House.
Witnesses said, Roads and Bridges Minister took part in different party programmes in Noyakhali on Friday. He later reached Feni Circuit House on Saturday.
Hearing the news, leaders of Feni Awami Leauge (AL), Jobo League and other front organisations paid visit to minister. Hazi Rahim Ullah, MP, and his supporters also met him.
At one stage, some Jubo Leauge activists locked scuffle with the supporters of Hazi Rahim Ullah, MP. They later beat him in presence of the minister.
More than 10 supporters of Hazi Rahim Ullah also injured by the attack of the Jubo League activists.
