A Jubo League activist died on the spot in a fight between two cable business groups in Chattagram centering holding power. The name of the victim is Faridul Islam (40). Many people, including children, present there also got injured.
This incident happened on Friday afternoon in the city’s Mia Baper Mosjid area on the DC Road under Chawkbazar Thana. Deceased Farid was a sand trader. Besides, he used to do cable business.
The relatives of the deceased gathered at
Chattagram Medical College Hospital after the dead body was brought there. Manowara Shumi, the wife Farid, got senseless seeing her husband bullet-wounded. Later, she regained consciousness. The victim has left a daughter and a son.
