JFA U-14 Football Championship begins today

The first round of JFA U-14 Women’s National Football Championship begins today (Monday) at the six different venues across the country.
A total of 33 teams are expected to take part in the knock out basis meet.
The second phase will be held with the participation of eight teams in later stage. The eight teams will comprises with 6 champion teams of six venues, one best runners-up and a host venue team.
In this regard, a press conference was held on Sunday at the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) conference room to provide all the details of the meet.
BFF women’s deputy wing Mahfuza Akter Kiron, BFF general secretary Abu Nayeem Sohag, women’s wing official Ayesha Jaman Khuki and Laizul Karim Kosturi were present at the press conference.
Kiron said Japan Football Association (JFA), the chief patron of the tournament, raised their donation to U$ 30,000.00 to U$ 20,000.00 this year and if the present tournament becomes successful then JFA would keep continue on with their donation programs in future.
