His father was a renowned actor. There is reflection of father’s acting in him. He is Jeetu Ahsan. His father is Syed Ahsan Ali Sydney. If present time’s viewers want to relate Jeetu’s father they can remember a play-back song of Alamgir Kabir’s movie Surjokonnya titled Chena chena lagey tobuo achena, bhalobasho Jodi kachhey ashona where they can easily find Sydney was performing with this song on the screen. By virtue of self quality Jeetu is now an established actor.
Though Jeetu has been working in small screen for many years but he could not get the scope to act in big screen. He got many offers to work in both Kolkata and Dhaka’s movies but couldn’t agree to work. Jeetu got his favourite role Hanif Shikder in Badrul Anam Soud’s movie Gohin Baluchar. It is a negative role and Jeetu acted in it joyfully.
While talking in this regard Jeetu told this correspondent, “When Soud Bhai started to write script of the movie he informed me. I mentioned a role to imagine you while writing. Later he sent me the script and after reading I agreed to work in role of Hanif Shikder. Now viewers will give their judgment about what type of performance I did after watching the movie on the screen.”
Gohin Baluchar is scheduled to be released on December 29. Runa Khan acted against Jeetu in the film. In 1983/84 Jeetu first acted in Abdul Latif Bachchhu directed a short film titled Lal Balloon.
