Our Correspondent, Barisal :Awami League-backed candidate Jebunnessa Afroz has been declared winner unofficially in Barisal-5 constituency.Returning Officer Md Shohidul Alam made the announcement around 8pm.Jebunnessa Afroz bagged 1, 83,629 votes with “Boat” symbol while Saiful Islam Liton of BNF received 6,136 votes with “Television” symbol.Barisal 5 constituency fell vacant following the death of AL lawmaker Shawkat Hossain Hiron on April 9.
