In a formal gala event in a Gulshan hotel, the former President of JCI Dhaka West Taha Yeasin Ramadan handed over the Local President chain to the newly elected President Md Altamis Nabil.
In the event, Parliament Member Syeda Rubina Aktar, 2022 JCI Bangladesh National President Niaz Morshed Elite, Basis President Russel T Ahmed and General Secretary of Amrai Bangladesh Liakat Hossain were present.
There was the 1st General Members Meeting of 2022 and an Extra-ordinary General Assembly also took place. After the chain handover, four new board officers were elected through the EGA ceremony and after that, some renowned organizations collaborated as an MoU signing session in which members will receive numerous benefits through that partnership.
As the newly elected President Md Altamis Nabil said: “We will work tirelessly to spread the goodness through our sustainable development work which we want to expand to the whole country.” As an opening remark, 2022 National President Niaz Morshed Elite said: “We will open more chapters outside Dhaka like Barisal, Sylhet, Cox’s Bazar etc. so that our young generation get involved to bring positive change in the society and all the citizens experience the positive outcome from that activities. JCI is a global organization consisting of young active citizens between the age of 18 to 40, engaged in the development activities of society. Its headquarters is located in Missouri, Saint Louis of the United States.
In more than 120 countries, it operates its activities through 2 lakh active members. In Bangladesh, JCI has more than 25 local chapters and JCI Dhaka West is the oldest and largest member base chapter among all.
